Around two months ago, I have posted some pictures on how "arty" Perth city is. You just need to know which lane to go to and you will see a lot work from some local artists.
On a Friday morning, I decided to pay Howard Lane a visit and inside this small hidden lane I found some really nice artwork.
In February 2008, Polaroid announced it will close the production line of analog instant film. This means is there will no longer be any instant films/cameras that we have come to like. You will no longer see people coming around, offering to take a picture of you instantly. What a sad news!
Luckily (for us!) a team of former Polaroid employees decided to take matter into their hands and started the Impossible Project. The Impossible Project work relentlessly to save the analog instant film production line and revive the Polaroid instant films which are now called the Impossible Instant films.
We are lucky enough to have PigeonHole in Perth who is selling these films and cameras.
My wife bought me a 600 series Polaroid camera and it is seriously good. The pictures that come out of it really has a different vibe/feel compare to any pictures taken from SLR or normal point-n-shoot.
What can I do to make it a bit different? How to not repeat what other pioneers have done?
Rather than writing how good/bad the food is, I will combine two of my passion...photography + food!
From time to time I will post some photos of the food that I have tasted let you decide for yourself if they are good. You are more than welcome to leave any comments and I will strive to respond to any questions.
I will start off with two of the places that I have visited recently
I have been lazy and haven't looked at this blog for so long. It doesn't mean I haven't been capturing stuffs though!
There has been some nice arts popping up around the walls of Perth City so I thought I will get up one chilly morning and take some shots of Perth before it gets crowded.
Went to Perth Upmarket @ UWA last Sunday and took some pictures.
Perth Upmarket is a group of local designers/retailers who comes together to showcase their items and also sells them to the public. More info can be found at http://www.perthupmarket.com.au
Wake up to a Radi8 latte this morning. Pretty good coffee. Doesn't hurt when there are 50% off voucher handed out by pretty girls at entrance of Picadilly arcade.
